Young Artists at Sk’il’ Mountain Community School in Shalalth BC. The Great Bloom by Sydney Marino: Artists in the Classroom Residency with Story Theatre is funded by the AIC Grant from ArtStarts. Special thank you to the Lil’ Tem’ Mountain Hotel!
We are so grateful for the beautiful time we spent in the Tsal’alh Nation, St'át'imc territory and lands, and the waters of Seton Lake.
These wonderful students and teachers/staff have left a lasting impact on our touring team. This artwork shows the powerful impact of connection, storytelling, and BIPOC leadership for Indigenous, Black, and racialized children of colour. When we see ourselves represented on stage, we can experience inclusion, familiarity, and empowerment.
We are all a part of the story!
