CANADA SUMMER JOBS POSITION

Outreach Program Coordinator

Seasonal employment/Full time

$27.85 hourly / 30 hours per week, for 8 weeks

Start Date: June 22, 2026

Job Description & Tasks

  • Work closely with the Artistic Producer and Associate Producer to promote educational programs for schools advertised for Fall 2026 and Early 2027

  • Assist with Mail Campaign via Aristos Mail

  • Attend tabling events, farmers markets, and outreach/ public facing events for visibility of Story Theatre

  • Drive to local schools and drop off programming information

  • Prepare and run craft activities with children and customers

  • Follow timelines and deadlines set out by Producers

  • Support the creation of digital content to share on social media for visibility of company

  • Ability to share information and ideas through speaking, listening and interacting with others for targeted audiences of families with children, teachers/educators

  • Assets for the position include BC Driver’s License and use of a vehicle (mileage paid), past experience working with children, teaching and/or youth leadership experience, theatre and arts experience, excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Be aged between 15 and 30 years old on the start date of the job;

  • Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN); and

  • Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada.
