About Story Theatre

Our Organization

Story Theatre Company is a registered non-profit society with a mandate to create theatre productions for young people that enhance and complement their learning experiences. We tour our work to schools and public spaces with an intention to provide high-quality arts experiences in a format that is accessible for a wide-range of children in BC.  While the company is based in Victoria, BC, nearly 75% of our performances happen in small towns and villages across the province.

Story Theatre's plays use narrative storytelling and improvisation to encourage enthusiasm for one's own literacy and storytelling abilities.

Children learn through movement and play, so our productions encourage audience participation. Story lives in all of us - and we are all a part of the show.
