Arts Education - delivered to your door!

The Story Club

Storytelling Activity Kits

About the Project:

Story Theatre is proud to bring you The Story Club, an arts education program delivered directly to your home! The Story Club aspires to foster a provincial network of young storytellers by introducing them to crafts, games, and community challenges focused on practicing the art of storytelling. We are prioritizing children and families who have experienced isolation or a change to their learning environment due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Each month, registered participants across BC will receive a FREE storytelling kit in the mail.

Each kit will include a crafts, games, and a community club challenge, and a Guest Artist Pen Pal. Best suited for ages 6-10.

We care about access. Pay-What-You-Can donations allows families to choose their pricing. Suggested donation is $25/child.

Who can register?

Any child living in British Columbia. The lessons and activities are created for elementary school students and will be best suited to ages 6-10.

How do you sign up?

Please register for the program HERE.

We have space for 500 participants / month. Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive one kit per month for the duration of the school year (2020-21). Anticipated delivery dates: Mar 28, April 28, May 28, June 28. Each child in your home who wishes to participate must be registered individually.

Registration cut off date for March 28th Delivery: March 20, 2021

Do the Story Club kits include all the Craft Supplies my child will need?

All supplies except glue, tape, pencil crayons, and scissors will be included.

Do you require these basic supplies? Let us know! When your child receives their parcel, there shouldn’t be anything stopping them from jumping straight in. We will provide you these supplies if you need them.

Basic crafting tools may be requested when you register. Basic tools include glue sticks, child scissors, tape, and pencil crayons. To prevent waste, we ask that you only request these tools if you do not have them in your home already.

How long does the program run?

Monthly from March 2021 - June 2021

We’ve received our kits and are having fun. How can we stay engaged?
