PAST SHOWS

Since 1981, Story Theatre Company has quite literally toured the world. We have performed for millions of young and young at heart audience members in Singapore, New York City, Florida, California, Oregon and Arizona. In Canada, the company has toured from its home base of Victoria as far afield as Newfoundland and Labrador, from Toronto to Whitehorse and nearly every Province in between.

Story Theatre has tackled a wide array of stories and issues over the last 27 years. Founder Jim Leard has always relied on classics tales, such as Aesop's Fables, Grimm's Fairy Tales as well as classic literature written by Edgar Allan Poe, Lewis Carroll, Robert Louis Stevenson and even William Shakespeare. In recent years, Jim has merged the classics into compelling and original productions that explore some of the timeliest and program driven issues facing school age children, such as language arts, bullying and self respect.
